Things That are Frustrating Me Right Now

1. Brooke Knows Best
I don't know why I'm watching this right now, but now that I am, I just have to vent. Basically, to sum up why I'm so mad is: why would anyone make a show about a retarded person and then call it (Retarded Person) Knows Best. Let me tell you, Brooke does not know best. Do you know what she just said? She doesn't think women should vote because women are too emotional. Did I seriously just hear her say that? She says this while interviewing candidates for a room mate for her what must be a half million dollar condo. So she's super rich in this super expensive condo, but at the same time needs a room mate and can't affoard everything she just bought at Target. Why can't TV offer me entertainment based on role models anymore? What ever happened to being inspired by good people to be the best you can? Now all we do is idolize rich people just becuase they are rich, and in this case, I guess aren't even rich, which makes Brooke Knows Best completely the most horrible TV I ever waisted my time on.

2. Windows Vista
Every week I have a new problem. I'm really good with computers. If there is a problem, I can fix it. I can't fix Vista. I think that if we have a lemon law for cars, we definitally need one for computers. Every time I run into a problem, I search the internet and find that everyone has the same problem. And Microsoft never fixes it. The Mac commercials are no joke. Vista has some serious problems, and if you have the choice, do not choose Vista. I want my money back so bad.

I guess that's it for now. I'll make sure to keep everyone up to date on what is frusterating me in the future.

Augustana tonight...

I'm really excited to see one of my favorite bands of the last 2 years, Augustana. It should be a great show - super intimate (it's at the Social), and apparently we're getting some 5-part harmonies as part of the show. It should be a real treat.

Did I mention that I'm excited for FwF's CD Release Weekend Extravaganza also? I didn't? Well, I am. You can get all the details from the Blog section of our MySpace page. Check it out!

Have a good Thursday,

New Album

I'm so excited that we have unleashed this beast of an album out to all of you today. Our CD is practically everywhere and we did it all on our own. I encourage all of you to pick up our album. I listened to it today for the first time as a listener and not a member of the band. After that, I can truly say that I am infinitely proud of everyone in this band for what they put into making this dream a reality. But this is where the fun starts!!! We're going to be playing shows throughout the Summer and through the Fall to make everyone know that we have arrived.

Thanks for reading!!!!

Radiohead

Saw them last night and it totally inspired me to push the envelope in terms of how virtually any sound can be used musically. Amazing stuff.

All kinds of ideas

So we are basically trying to figure out how to put these blog postings on our main website, www.fairweather-friend.com so it can be read there. We want this blog to be an open forum for us and fans. We can post photos from shows, we post funny tour stories...we could even talk about politics. We'd love to have our fans chime in and open a discussion with us! If anyone out there has any ideas, please let us know! Remember that we have a CD coming out on May 27 called "Six Strings, Five Days". There will be a pre-sale next week, during which you can get the digital version immediately! Also know that we're playing Florida Music Festival on May 15th @ Voyage with In Passing, the Queues, and Kingsbury.

Tons of fun stuff happening. Let's talk about it here!!!
